Whether you're looking to create your own unique engagement ring or wanting to refresh a treasured heirloom with a contemporary look, our James Free custom design team is excited to bring your ideas to life.
Custom Design Process
STEP 1: Submit an Inquiry
Submit your design online or meet with a team member in store and receive a complimentary quote based on your design as well as your metal and gemstone selection.
STEP 2: Concept
We'll take your ideas, drawings, and images, and work together with you to create a design concept. Our team of GIA Graduate Gemologists will help you select the perfect natural diamonds and gemstones for your design.
STEP 3: CAD/Wax Models
Once your design has been finalized and your order placed, we will create a wax or computerized (CAD) model which displays multi-angled renderings of your piece. Images and your model will be reviewed with you to approve or request modifications to your design.
STEP 4: Approval & Finished Piece
Upon your final approval, our production team will cast your design in the saved precious metal of your choice. Your gemstones are then meticulously set by our expert craftsmen. Lastly, your beautifully finished piece is thoroughly inspected by our Quality Assurance team.
